Hi folks, I'm in the process of installing ez brackets for my new Chilhowee bags. I have a question. Do I leave on the side rails from my previous throw over saddle bags or remove them? The instructions are not clear...Frankp

Take them off. Once you get the brackets mounted they will be kept away from the wheel and fender by the bracket itself. Also, if you don't want the bags on it gives you a nice clean look.

Success!!!

Thanks for the feedback...I not only removed them but I've successfully installed the ez brackets AND the bags. It was so easy, even this old Polack could do it...my relatives in Krakov would be proud!!! Frankp :D
