I'm getting ready to install some L&R forward controls. When changing the brake hose how is the best way to bleed out brakes. How much fluid will I need. Any other insightful tips for installing these forward controls.

Bigdog 1 is correct....just make sure you DON'T touch that brake pedal when you are switching hoses. As long as you leave that alone, you don't introduce air into the system and you are good to go.

Just did mine and no problem if you follow the instructions. You'll love them. I did have to adjust the brake pedal though - thought it was too much of a reach due to the angle change caused by the relocation. This is a little work - have to remove chromed guard then cotter pin, then turn adjustment. Nice improvement to riding position with this mod. Also remounted horn behind the radiator on an existing bracket.
