Isnt it great just being a man. I sold my sport bike the other week and had been searching high and low for a vtx 1300 and finally found a sweet 04 C for 6000 with 1500 miles. After about 10 minutes on the bike I had to ask myself what the hell was I doing on a sport bike. Any hoo lets just say I love my new ride and cant wait to put pipes on it and really turn some heads. Just sitting there cruising down the highway listening to that engine, nothing holding you back, well except the boss on the passenger seat (maybe I should get a solo seat and that'll be an excuse to leave her at home, haha just joking)....Isnt it great to be a man!!!!

PS the stock seat sucks

Yeah, but having the boss on the back to keep you warm on those night time rides is still pretty good. Love heading out for a days ride with the girlfriend. That and when I get a lil tired I just lean back on the comfortable "Back Pillows" :D

True, being a man is a wonderful thing, however, when you're a girl riding such a big beautiful bike and you take off your helmet, all eyes turn.

I have to agree, on the ride her own thing. Except when your girlfiends X looks better than yours.

Oh, and when you have to wash hers and yours!!!!

:p I bought my X for a graduation present to myself. My hubby still has a Suzuki Maurader! Isn't love a wonderful thing?! Oh, and I'm the one who always washes the bikes. My hubby's idea of cleaning the bikes is to ride it in the rain!

i have to agree with your old man about the best way to wash a bike. Does no good to shine up all the chrome and clean the leather when I know it's gonna look the same way in a couple of days. I ride in all weather and the only part of the bike that bothers me when it's "dirty" is the windshield then only at night in the rain. Other than that i really don't care what it looks like or what others think. If there is time to clean it then there is sure enough time to ride it. Ride safe.
