Hey guys

some of yous may remember me from way back. Greetings to old and new. Thinking about picking up the wrench again and getting the ol'e VTX out of mothballs. Nothing set in stone, mind you, baby steps.

I know she'll be needing a professional tune up, so I was wondering, since I've been out of the scene for a spell, what shop/shops in and around Los Angeles specialize in our bikes? Wanna get her dialed in as she never ran quite right after I installed the Cobra pipes. Ran ok, but I know she was a little off.

So, need someone who knows our bikes and will make her purr.

Hopefully you'll se me visit here more often in the future. Looking forward to touching bases with some of the old crew.

I do not have any recommendations for a shop, but is it an 1800? It may need a FI manager since changing the pipes.

Many installed a #58 Keihin low speed, mains were #200 to #220 depending how open the air flow is..
Verify intake manifold rubber parts, check diaphragms in the carb,
Verify fuel flow from petcock.and vacuum hoses. Verify fuel filter in carb hose bib.
