So, out in the middle of nowhere Missouri and there's nothing like riding with friends on the 31st of January.

Sunny skies, temps to start in the low-to-mid 40's, and a high of about 65.

Did I mention that it was SUNNY ???

They stand up, all by themselves when ya bury 'em. Side stand not required.

The good news is that we escaped - and made it home before dark !!!

Yeah right! Hey! Here in Minnesota in the winter I get half the gas mileage once the drifts get 2' tall. All the spinning. The added weight of the plow doesn't help either! Yeah.....you mentioned it was sunny. Where's that "dislike" thumb....I saw it somewhere.

Well, we pulled into that area near the river - and the sand looked hard and packed.
I was wrong about THAT. lol

We did get to see virtually pristine area and a crystal-clear stream. No footprints, no people, no vehicles, no nothing.

Bike never tumped over - it just stayed straight up, even when we dug it out. Not a mark on it - except a little mud on the tires.
