Before a ride Saturday, I noticed a few drops of fluid under my bike by kickstand. It turned out to be the water pump. It couldn't be a loose hose clamp or something simple like that, well while I'm looking at the water pump I notice a drywall screw in the rear tire. Damn, fourth screw or nail in my rear tire since Katrina! I guess I'll change the tire again, but it's getting quite expensive. I'll bring the scoot to Boyce for the water pump job (hope the pump is covered under the extended warranty) otherwise I'll be calling Mike for that too! Of course it will give me a little time to clean and polish the bike but that's not my strong suit. I'd rather be riding!!! :(

This may or may not be you...

Are you riding nearer the white stripe than your right tire would be in a car?

There is more junk near the white line than anywhere else within the lanes.

There is also more gravel near the white line... bad when leaned into a turn.
