I just had one of these put on my 1800R model along with V&H and PCIII. I was under the impression that the butterflys on the front operated on vacuum. Mine stay open all the time. Am I wrong?

Also, if any of you are knowlegable of Dynometers...are the speeds indicated on the Dyno usually correct? Thanks.

Yes thay are to open&close with the throttle. Your vacuum line is hooked up incorrectly. The vacuum nipple is on the top of the throttle body and you must dispose of the vacuum line on the bike that has a "T" fitting in it and hooks to that nipple. You then use the new line with the Hyper to connect right to that nipple. 8)

mine did the same thing, was hooked up correctly but found that it leaked vaccum on the actuator on the rear of the hyper, had to open it up and grease the rubber diaphram to get a good seal, no more leaks and my butterflies work perfect.
