I've always enjoyed reading about others who take treks that are long, in obscure places or off the beaten path.

The link below (Thanks Doug) is to a site where a guy took a three month 11.500 mile journey from Toronto to Yukon, Alaska, Inuvik NT Canada and back. If you don't think that sounds to hard think again. This guy did it in 1978, . . . on a moped. - A great read if you have the time.

My short (3200 mi.) trek out west was both the longest and in the most remote areas I've ridden.

If you have any trips that have been out of the ordinary , how far and to where ?

I remember a guy that did a "run across America" it was back when computers were new. This guy would travel from place to place. He would tell ppl what he was doing, writing about his trip and the ppl as he went.
Anyway this guy came through Star Ms, my home town where my Grandfather had a Farm. He stoped at my folks house and asked if he could sleep in our barn.

There he was a travling biker looking dude and he ask my old and very gruffy ex cop of the 50's Grandfather if he , a stranger, biker and big guy could stay the night ! Well, lets put it this way....He didn't write good stuff about Star Ms. !!!!!!

I write this hoping someone might remember this guy.??

I woulld love to re read his story.

You have to admire people who aren't afraid to step out of their own backyard and try sometime like that. Those type trips are truly adventures of a lifetime.

I sat and viewed all 220 photos. The music was great. 8)

Oh , BTW Guzzidoug has problems at home.

The price is pretty reasonable for a 3 week plus road trip of a lifetime

$6,000 plus your flight

Came within a breath of booking with this outfit last fall
