I have modified the stock exhaust w/ the Clayton Mod + punched 4, 3/8" holes through the baffle plate between the center and aft sections, and 2, 3/8" holes through the baffle plate between the center and forward sections. (Sounds REAL GOOD to me 8) ). I put the stock replacement K&N air filter in the air box, and was thinking about modifying the box by cutting an opening in the black plastic to allow more air in. (also, blocking off the upper inboard, or stock openings to prevent a venturi effect) If I do this mod to the airbox along w/ the exhaust mod already done, does anyone know if I will have to re-jet the carb? How will I be able to tell if I need to re-jet? Does the motor sound different, and/or is it dependent on the throttle position? Thanks for any help.

BUMP

I have no idea how to tell if it is running too lean, other than completely starving it of fuel to where it won't idle. What should I look for? If running on the dyno is the answer, how much does that cost?
