Thought I'd repost the BBQ at my house Aug 3-5. Bring your tent, RV, or sleeping bag and grab a spot on the couch or floor. Plan is to ride the east side of Mt. on Sat. and west side on Sun. If anyone comes down early maybe we can get a ride to the coast or elsewhere.

I was contacted by one of the Oregon group, seems they are haveing a BBQ the same weekend and wanted to know if we wanted to ride somewhere with there group on Saturday instead of the Mt. Told him I'd put it too everyone to see if there were any interest????? So those that are coming give it some thought and voice your opinion... Bob

The ride with the Oregon group would be cool, as I will be with them and the California group. It would be great to get all 3 states together finally.

:) We could possibly ride 12 over to Yakima and they (Oregon riders) could come via hwy97 or something. All meet at Tiny's in Yakima, for the best burgers and fries in the state? Time would probbly warrent that we (or some) ride back over 12 to get back in ample time??? Or just ride up the mtn. and all wave at each other!? I don't think many want to ride in/around Portland... Whatever works for all? I have heard that 410 over Chinook is closed down for road repairs, maybe all year??? That's my 2 cents worth!!! Ed&Leslie 8)

at that time of the summer something out at the coast would be best. some of the cali guys are gonna be comin from the inland area where temps are in triple digits, so they are not gonna want to ride over to yakima where the temps are gonna be sweltering also. my thoughts were to have a meet point somewhere near PDX so its central meeting point for both groups. the ride form longview out longbeach and across the bridge into astoria is a fun ride. and going across the bridge is quite the experience.

:D You're right about that bridge at Astoria!! Rode across there last summer with Izzy... What is PDX? I have a guess but please explain? I'm up for it! Depends on the group at Izzy's BBQ and if we can see the mtn. one day and BBQ, then have a meeting for those who can make that on Sunday? Can it be we do both? MTN. and BBQ on Sat. then meeting/ride with Oregon/Cal. group on Sunday? Ed&Leslie 8)

:) OH, PORTLAND CITY! We have alittle time and maybe kick it around at Mardon too? These things come up fast and coordination is the key! I don't know if there is enough time to meet on Sunday and have everyone head home after??? Some will and some won't I'm sure!!! Keep it alive and like Izzy said, it is up to the groups and the time thing! Thanks Jason, Hope to meet you at Mardon? I think I talked to you last year a little? Ed1947 8)
