I need the locals help. I have had my VTX1300 S down for most of the summer and I wont be getting back on the road till the fall. To celebrate getting it back together, my girlfriend and I want to take it on a four to five day ride through the mountains. What I need from you guys here are suggestions. I need scenic roadways, lodging (preferably a cabin with fireplace, hot tub ya know), things to do in the area. The whole nine yards. Help me out here guys. Thanks!!!

Here is a write up from a fellow x'er about our state.

And here is what I told someone not to long ago.

You may want to look into riding the Gauley Mountain on Rt. 60, lots of curves and nice scenery, plus that route will take you past Hawks Nest state park and the New River Gorge Bridge in Summersville. You may want to toss in some white water rafting while you are there. Ask about a little restaurant called Pies n Pints while you are in the Summersville/ Fayetteville area.

Here are a few links to get you started, if you have any questions just drop me a pm or an e-mail.
