We need to have a meet up and ride for those of us in Oklahoma. Maybe a meet in Tulsa and OKC areas? meet up at Pops, Hooters, TP's or something, eat and then do some riding as a group? I have a couple of other guys who would like to tag along as well so if you have a riding buddy/buddies then invite them also if you'd like. We're a pretty diverse group as one rides a Triumph and the other a HD. Would like to meet some of the other members and check out the rides.
Anyone interested? If so let's pick a day...

I would be interested. Back in States first Monday in May.
Can I suggest you offer 2 or 3 optional dates, then let group decide for highest number in attendance?

Well let's see if we can shoot for May if that's good with everyone else. I noticed that some members are getting their bikes put back together from winter mods.
I won't be able to make it the first weekend of May but anytime other than that I should be good.
Let's see if we get enough people interested and see what weekends are best for everyone.
CROWE, get that bike ready man! I can't wait to see it.

May I make a few suggestions on places between Tulsa and OKC...Owassa is a bit further:

Rock Cafe in Stroud
Eskimo Joes in Stillwater
Lucille's in Mulhall

Most of these places are an hours riding from either location and are easy to get to.

Drumright has a good place for photo shoots if desired...their painted mural building walls with the American Flag. Muskogee may have some good eats...a bit further for the OKC group. Just thought I would throw it out there...safe riding.

I'm up for any suggestions on where to meet up. like I said before tho I'm out on the first weekend but should be good to go anytime after that. It'd be nice to get a good chunk of us together. Ive noticed a lot more members showing up from Oklahoma on here lately so C'mon all you Okies, let's get this rolling. If anyone has other date or location suggestions please feel free to chime in.

Watching the exchange of e-mails and will try and join you all when a date is set. I can't go the weekend of the 17th, my mom is turning 93 so got to be there to celebrate with her, I'll keep watching for a date you all decide on.

So it seems like the weekend of the 10th looks good??

Are you all more into a morning ride and get breakfast or mid morning ride and get lunch?

I've got a date with my wife that evening so as long as I'm home mid-late afternoon, I'm good.

Stillwater sounds cool. School should be out and the kids gone. Or I'd be good with Stroud. Never been to Mullhall?

West and central folks figure out your travel plans and us eastern folks can meet up at a big gas station like the QT near the Hard Rock?

The 10th would work for me, if the planned ride turns out to be longer than I have time for I will just turn around when I need to, morning rides are always nice, I will keep an eye on this thread to see what is decide.

I'm not sure how long of a ride I can take with the new set up. Right now I have the saddlebag lids secured with painters tape  between the bike and bag. Thats the thing about custom work is that is is truly custom. So currently the bags are only for looks and not function. However, I may just put some extra tape on it :yikes:

(Note: any ideas and help on secure catches is appreciated) :tools:

Where are most of the NE OK folks from? Could always meet at QT by the Hard Rock at 8am. Unless there are alot of west Tulsa folks meeting up we could change the venue and time. I'm open to suggestions. Is there any central or west OK folks meeting up in Stroud or Stillwater?

Docta???

If there is no other responses...........

I will make the executive decision to meet at QT across the highway from the Hard Rock at 8am and leave out by 8:30am for Stroud. Can take the Turnpike out there and those that want a leisurely ride back can take that and the others can hop back on the Turnpike?

I would rather not be road captain on this ride but if need be we will take 412/44 west to 169 south to the Creek Turnpike to I44 west on the Turner Turnpike to Stroud. Make sure you have change or a pike pass.

Really need some feedback from the OK City and West OK folks. Otherwise we can do a local meet and greet over breakfast at the IHOP near by and whoever wants to ride can do so and go wherever.

Alright guys, let's get a head count on who can make on the 10th. I'd rather morning and maybe stillwater. Grab some breakfast and take off that way or maybe eat there.
Anyone on the west side of Tulsa can meet up at the Walmart in sand springs on HW 97 next to 412. Figure we can meet the others from the east there and just travel on.
Let me know who's in and if that seems like a good plan.
Edit:
Forgot about the OSU graduation this saturday. I'm going to have to attend that seeing that my sister is graduating. So unless it's going to be just a local meet and greet over breakfast then I'm out for Saturday afternoon.
And Crowe, sorry to say but with that new sexy setup your gonna have to take lead on the ride:thumbup:
Man that looks sweet!

Enjoy the ride, I have other plans. But do think the breakfast and coffee at the Rock Cafe in Stroud is excellent. Route 66 is good too...those coming from OKC can stop at Pops to join up and grab a cup of coffee. It is exactly 50 miles from Pops.

I believe OSU graduation ceremony is the 10th...probably not the best place to go to avoid traffic.

Safe riding...
