Some of you may remember that we considered a springer front end for the VTX CHOPPER back when we built it but just didn't have the time to get it made. We had talked with Jerry of Jerry's Springers here in FLorida and he had a lot of cool ideas.

Yesterday I ordered a springer front end that I should have on Thursday and we just happen to have a VTX1800 Retro sitting in the back. So we are going to play with it and see if we can come up with something that looks good on the Retro. Now the Retro can be even more Retro.

No problems...we're brothers. :D

We bought what we bought for different reasons.

Just get tired sometimes of hearing the same old crap even when people don't really mean it.

Well... Glennok here is some more, crap that is!

the 1800 gets more attention cause we're older and bigger... don't you hate that older brother syndrum...

I grew up with it at home... but I have the 1800...!

Hal, that's really great looking... Shawn will be disappointed. I told him ideas are great, but action speaks louder than words! Do it! I may get a Retor and setup that front end next year.

I like the curves of the front end, thanks for the link.
You're welcome Moose. I saw these on the Biker build off series on the Triumph 650 that Rick Fairless built. They quoted the main fork tubes as being 54mm (~2 inches) in diameter  :D 8) When I went to the website I saw the rocker pieces and knew that these were a cut above. They also have shocks hidden under the lower spring set :D 8) 8) and they make them in almost any length plus or minus from standard and any rake in multiples of 3 degrees.
