This is my 2002 VTX 1800C I picked up back in 2017 off the original owner. It only had 2k on the odo. The only thing I have done is a VTXexhaust mod on the pipe and added a Cobra Fi2000 Digital Fuel Processor and polished it.

Yep, got my CRUSH in Feb, 2002 divirced Dec, 2003. Feb 2005 WYFY moved in, and she rides with me.

I hope that included riding her once in awhile. Life does get in the way at times. Welcome.
Thanks everyone. I am a good auto mechanic but have limited experience wrenching on bikes. I'll need a few tips and tricks as I start to do more preventive maintenance. My wife's just mad because the bike equals 75 nail salon visits.

Suggest that SHE does the preventive maintenance on your bike. That will create a need for many more nail salon visits.

Welcome to VTXOA - mad wife - why wives hate motorcycles would make a good thread for discussion. I don't have any knowledge on the subject, I've never been married.
This is the second bike I've owned in my 35 year marriage. She was mad because we kinda went shopping, but I also made arraignments to meet the previous VTX owner in a parking lot to look at the bike. His mad wife had also followed him in their car. In a matter of 30 min and some paperwork on the hood of my car I was riding home alone.

Lucky for me I met my wife almost twenty years ago while riding a first year 1300r, so she is very understanding!
