JUST BECAME A MEMBER, HAVE OWN MY 1300R FOR ABOUT21/2 MONTHS BOY ITS A BIG DEFERENCE BETWEN IT AND THE TOURING BIKE I DID HAVE. HOPE TO MEET SOME OF YOU SOME TIME AND OR RIDE TOGETHER.

Have you ever been to Cassoday? There is a huge rally there this sunday from about 8:30am to 1:00 pm if it doesn't rain. I know it is a bit of a long run for you, but it is quite a gathering of bikers.
By the way, I love my VTX1300R.

Thank you to those that replied back. I need the support. I will be getting my new VTX1300R from the dealer and plan on having a great time with it, once I get used to it.

For you two newbies. Do not make the same dumb mistakes some of us have. Ask questions and do your research beofre adding parts to your bike. Especially exhaust. Most of us have gone thru 2-3 exhaust systems before we finally got happy with a system. I suggest finding somene with the exact bike you have with an exhaust you want and not only hear it parked. Ride with them, and have them do a drive by. I heard a 1300 the other day that sounded like dog dodo as he rode by me. An 1800 also sounds much differnt than a 1300. Not only due to the extar 500cc, but the engine design is different. Just my two cents.
You will find answers to any question you have on this board. Search your appropriate forum and or ask the question. A few will always flame you, but they flame everyone. A few will always help you with anything you need.
