My daily-driver project bike, done on a budget over the last three years. Came all stock in “bloodstone,” (see last picture) which the wife and I called “purplish rain.” Now it’s black but the name stuck.

ALL of the work you see was done in my garage with basic tools. I fabricated the 3” headlight extension in my from a piece of .5” aluminum, and the control extensions set the pedals about 3 3/4” forward to fit my inseam. Please feel free to message me about anything VTX related. I love to talk shop.

Hello John, welcome to the VTXOA!
Front end has been cleaned up! I did not realize how big the TS were.
Do you have led TS in your mirror or do you use hand signals?
No speedo/odometer? Run out of gas yet?
Single throttle cable and braided brake/clutch blend in nicely.

Thanks! All hand signals here. For some reason Virginia law says you need to have OEM TS or none at all. Bizarre...

Bureaucracy at its finest. Something small could still provide a good turn indicator.
Was just up in VA for several days to visit grandchildren. Centreville area. Visited both side of Potomac Rocks, National zoo and Sky Meadow. Scenic I-81 route!
