Does anyone make an offset valve stem for the C wheels. I noticed that checking the pressure sometimes can be difficult with the size of the stock stem. Not a lot of clearance between the cut out of the wheel and the top of the stock valve stem. Thought that offsets at a 90degree angle would work well.

I have metal 90 degree stems from a local shop that services all makes. I believe the guy said they were for a Yammie.

I think I have read on this board that Goldwing valve stems are 90 degree and would work. May want to do a search.

They have to be metal stems or they will break :wink: The rubber will NOT last :wink:

The rear wheel on the 1300 has a metal 90 degree stem. I put one on my 1800 a couple of years ago and it works just fine.

You could also try this $2.60 valve extension. It has to be removed before riding though. I keep 1 in the tool kit and 1 by my compressor.

Thanks to all. I contacted the shop that is putting on my tires and they have offsets for about $8.00. I guess it was not as difficult as I imagined.
