Does anyone have a pattern for the pair valve block-off plates? I removed the the hoses and vacuum valve, and also capped the hose fittings on the engine I was wondering if the reed valves would still make noises? Thanks for any help in Advance

Capped at the reed valve cover is all you need.
Reed valves are quiet---rubber seal on the base.
They will stay closed without external air pressure.
I put set screws (cut a few threads +RTV) in my hose fittings in 2005, no problems.

Thank you for the information, another quick question for you. Are the clutch baskets bad to wear out on these bikes. I just figured as many miles as you put on yours that you would know. Thanks, Charles

I still have the original clutch components in the engine.
1300 clutch has been trouble free from what I see on the board.
Clutch basket may rattle when you give a a light rev off idle...

Mine rattles at idle, but if you pull the clutch, and put it in gear and then you let the clutch out just enough to put pressure on it, it stops
