Do you all adjust your rear suspension setting when you're riding with a passenger? My wife is about 5'4", 130 lbs, and I'm wondering whether I should reset the settings before having her climb aboard.

I keep my stock shocks at 3 or 4 riding solo, and bump them up to 5 with passenger on board. With passenger, shocks will bottom out at 3 regularly, at 4 sometimes, and at 5 almost never. 5 is also much better handling. Haven't decided to spend the money on Progressives or Works shocks, but everyone on this board they make a big difference.

I keep my stock shocks on 5 all the time with my weighing in at 230 and riding hard i like the solid feel under me all the time. dont notice any difference when adding 110 pound wife back there.
Set it where it feels good for you. Don't be afraid to stop and stretch your legs and make an adjustment. It is a machine and will take all the adjustments you want to throw at it. When I first bought mine I went through this also. You will get 900 different answers from a 1000 people but it all boils down to your terrain , riding style and comfort level.
Enjoy the ride

I agree with pony, I set mine on 3 and leave 'em 2 up or solo, just a TINY bit stiff with just me, but easier than constantly changing.
