The chrome on my upper exhaust tip is peeling off.

Not blueing or anything else, just peeling. Curious if anyone else's had the problem?

Left a message at BUB, so we'll see what they do about it.

Not terrible bad, but for year and a half old pipes, any peeling is unacceptable in my mind.

Dont feel too bad.....My speedsters did the same thing......sent them back after a year or so I guess.....now one of the new ones are peeling again.........

Mine are a year old now, no peeling here.

Zilch on the customer satifaction.... the person over at BUB was quick to rant about how they recently extended their 90 day warranties out to a full year, but even quicker to point out that I've had mine for 1 year and 5 months.

Apparently chrome only has a 1 year shelf life... what a pile of dog $hit.

I've had mine something like a year, and mine look good.

You should at least be able to purchase new tips from them - perhaps send those back to them as a "core" charge, where they could re-chrome them and sell them as part of another set of pipes?

Just a thought.

Same thing here. About a year into them and both tips were peeling. I was going to pursue with them until i was run off the road by a sleeping van driver. That took care of that issue. Total replacement needed now (along with many other repairs).
