I have four bikers and their wives who have (all of a sudden) expressed interest on Sturgis. The catch is: WE LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA.

Our jobs and children prevent us from disappearing for a month so I was thinking of flying to nearby city and rent 5 bikes.

I considered Denver CO, because of flight volume may result in cheaper airline tickets, bike rental would be easy too.

Any other suggestions, arrival cities, which would make the ride also awesome?

What about from the north or east?

I live in Rapid City. Flying into Rapid City will cost and it will be hard to rent a bike. Don't know much about North but Sioux Falls is about 5 hours east of Sturgis on I 90. You might research this option.

If you are wanting a good ride to Sturgis after renting the bike I wouldn't do Sioux Falls. Just interstate riding from there, but it might be a place to get bikes. You could fly into Billings or Bozeman Montana. You could ride through some of Yellowstone then or over beartooth pass which is aweome. Billings is only about 300-350 miles and you could maybe get from there to the Hills in a day if you put in a long one. Just a thought
