DOES ANYBODY HAVE A WAY TO KEEP THAT BOX CLOSED,BEHIND THE SIDE COVER. MINE KEEPS OPENING,AND I KEEP MY PAPERS IN THERE?

lol...no....I swear mine's cursed. It'll stay closed when and if it wants too.

I keep my paper work in there too, just it's inside a ziplock bag too.

No but I found a great use for it.

I totally REMOVED it and installed a Radio/Intercom in its place!

Put you papers in a ZIP LOCK waterproof bag.

I do believe Honda shipped the bike with the owners manuals in such a bag.

Ziplock bag yes.
Tool door comes open no matter what.
Tool compartment is in and out of the wind so when the ziplock bag is crammed in there with tool kit (2005 tool kit or earlier.. one that actually has tools and is difficult to fit into tool box) nothing comes out of the tool box.. this has been my experience for about 20k miles.
