Just kidding. :wink: I actually just found a place here locally that polishes and chromes for antique car restoration that quoted me a price of 30-45 per wheel pending looking at them. "It may be cheaper if they aren't real intricate" he says. I am going to take the rim down to him and see what hes says, I figure even if the works isn't all that great I'm not out very much. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I would be very interested in this. I was thinking of polishing my too, but really don't have the time or dedication for such a project.

I live in Hillsboro, Ohio. So, I will be willing to take my rims up to this guy too, if the quality isn't that bad. That sounds like a great price too.

I think the 1300C rims look amazing chromed, plus alot less maintenance than polishing.

Keep me informed.

Also, the wife and I are taking vacation up around Cambridge, OH next month (July). But we won't be riding up there.

Yea this guy does chroming too. I don't know what kind of price chroming would be but I will check. The price is what has been keeping me from hroming but maybe this guys will be able to help me out. I will keep you posted.

I'm having my wheels powdercoated black in two weeks. Don't like laying on the ground to polish and clean. Guess I could stand on my head!!

Those prices seems ridiculously low. Are you sure they mean a full wet sand and polish?

I'm not totally sure of anything yet, I will keep you guys posted after I talk to the guy and let him see the wheels first hand

That seems really cheap! I have a website you can check out. www.gulfcoastpolishing.com I know this would be not local for you, but he may know some others. He does great work though, maybe worth shipping.
