well i installed the new progressive springs last week, and after riding around all weekend, i find them a little too stiff.
They are a definate improvement over the stock springs, got rid of all the front end nose dive, just a little too hard over the potholes.
I'm just looking to see if there is a way to soften them a bit?

How did you do the change, on or off the bike? How did you check your oil level? Too much oil = stiffer ride.

i did the change with the forks on the bike.
but now that i think of it, i measured the 5.5" with the springs in.
and i think they were supposed to be out when imeasured.

The 5.5 inches is only accurate with the forks off the bike and measured with them straight up and down.
The springs, seat and spacer should be OUT and the forks compressed.
