I have a 2002 1800R and I just bought a set of Burly Brand 1-1/4 bars that have a 14 inch rise. I made sure that they choked down to 1 inch where they bolt to the triple tree before I got them. Tried to put them on today but the triple tree is wider than the choked down part of the bars. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix for this or do I have to go with 1 inch bars? What bars and cables have others used? Thanks in advance.

Yes, because Honda and Harley have different sizes when it comes to triple tree riser measurements. When it comes to anything aftermarket, you MUST ask if these are made for Honda as most aftermarket stuff is made to fit Harleys
