Whats up All!!!!

I am a new owner of a VTX1300s and absolutely love it! My father has a VTX1800r. I have a few questions just because my knowledge of bikes are not too good.

Still have stock pipes on and don't really know too much about them. What are some of the recommended types of pipes(LOUD) to get installed??

I've seen a bunch of bikes with intake valves on the right side up by the motor. What are they for and how do they make the bike perform better?? Looks cool but I just don't know too much about.

Any Help and direction would be appreciated!!!

If you want loud, go with the Samson exhaust. They are awesome and you will love the sound. Sounds better than a Harley, look great on the 1300R

O.K. - you're asking about pipes and air kits 8)
You will get a TON of different opinions.
I have heard the Vance and Hines Bigshots and they are pretty loud.

For a performance air kit - the Thunder hurricane is supposed to be the Shitz

You will need to rejet

You can do a search for "air kits" or "exhaust" here:

be sure to click "search for all terms" and the appropriate forum (VTX 1300 riders board) or you'll get a lot of bogus results.
