2003 VTX 1800 C. Bike has about 450 miles on it so far. It had two miles on it when I got her new about 3 weeks ago. Changed to HK sideburners at about 30 miles. Went for ride today and it seemed to develope a vibration at about 70mph. Then as the day went on it seemed to jump and pop at slower speeds with throttle part open (just crusin). Came back and pulled plugs. All looked great except to rear on the right side. A little fouled. I was reading the post about plugs fouling during break in. I also started the bike at the shop here quite a few times for friends to hear it but did not ride it alot until the last few weeks. Can I just change the one plug or do you suggest changing all 4. If it is going to foul plugs until its broke in I would rather change them as needed. Any info will be great.

All the X's "pop", even the stock X. The large exhaust/muffler on the stock bike hides that pop so you don't hear it.
Bookmark this website, http://tech.vtxoa.com This is the sister site to this message board and contains all your How-to/Tips/Tricks/Why’s and links to other helpful sites for your new VTX. On that site there is an article explaining why the X has that "pop".
The "jump" I think you are describing the "Surging" problem we are familiar with. This can be solved by taking up the slack in the throttle cables, and/or tightening the intake manifold boots.
Here is how to tighten the cables;

Spike to the rescue again!!

Aren't you supposed to be puting your bike back together? Step back from the computer and put the girlie mags away until the bike is finished. We're all wanting to see how our hard work (voting) turned out! Less than 2 weeks left.

Yeah, I'll be on my bike I decided with or without the new wheels. I'll throw the old wheels back on for the ride, and if I get the new wheels from Handler before the ride I'll swap them again. 8)
