Is it possible to replace the 2002 1800c tank with a later model tank and going to an external fuel pump? If so, what is the procedure? I am only moderately mechanically inclined.

FI external pumps are plentiful.
Seems the internal FP is what Honda used in the extrernal FP.
Honda ext FP is in a housing because it has a FPR.
You could go with the ext FP. and still use the original FPR.
Tlynn did the change, someone else used a R tank.
