Since installing my Mustang seat and I feel like I'm sitting higher. As a result......it starts getting uncomfortable after about an hour of riding. I'm looking at buying a set of Aeromach 4 inch Pullback Risers for the VTX Retro and was wondering if anyone has them, how they like them, and if they needed to change their cables. Their add says the stock cables will be fine.
All input will be appreciated.

I have them, didn't have to do anything with the cables (a little snug, but works just the same). I had a rotator cuff injury, it really made the ride more comfotable.

I don't think you would be disappointed.

i love mine. i think it stretches the cables to the point of looking bad but working fine. i plan on ordering longer cables but am not in any hurry because i'm thinking about apes.

ScootWorks Risers for the 1300C

I ordered a set of those. They claim that no changes to the cables/hoses is needed, as there is enough slack to extend their reach. Please, tell me it is so? :?

Apes....you probably have heard them regarded to as ApeHangers. They are high rise bars...and they make ya look like a biggo monkey..LOL But they sure are cool :)

I like to refer to them as GorillaGrabbers....But i'm baised..ROFL

And are these just for looks or are they more comfortable too? I can just see all the blood rushing to my underarms. Then I would lose my Gorilla grip and become road kill, with hot underarms :)

I've got the ShowChrome 4" models and they're great. Easy install - stock cables work fine and they only set me back $89. Nice finish and very bulky material

Hey Mem-X...whats the pullback on those show chrome bars? I love the look of them the best (no ugly bolts), but was was wondering if they put the bars back enough (I have shorter arms than most of you riders, as I am 5'7"). Do they give as much pullback as the aeromach 4" risers? I read they are angled 3/4 inch (if I remember correctly). Not sure this would be enough, as I wanted about 2". Ever tried the Aeromach? What are your thoughts? They just dont look as good.
