Thanks Steve! I'm all set up in the new house...finally

Great ride, lots of bikes on the road...
I went on a ride with some friends in Salem. We went from Salem > Estacada > Detroit and back to Salem. I saw a lot of bikes on the Estacada <> Detroit road. It was a nice day and a great ride.

so i see the valk, did you right it for the day? or did you just get half the day on it...

Just Half.. since I only own half.. heh

Actually, I just rode it from Detroit to Salem on 22. Didn't really want to ride it much longer.. it needs some mods (Risers, Floorboards, Backrest) for it to be comfortable. Also, one of the hwy pegs wasn't set right (fixed that night) and wasn't comfortable to use (as in, you'd burn your leg on the engine).

I must admit.. After riding it, the power is nice, and it's a very smooth ride. It's also nice to have all the bags & faring... however... It's no VTX. I've invested a lot of effort into my bike to get it just how I like it... and with a few more tweaks it'll be perfect. The valk will need some work to get it there... but the seating position will always be more towards the standard less of a cruising style.
