Ladies and Gents –

For those who are participating in the SC VTX riders’ ride on Sat., April 4th, 2009 –
Rain date Sat., Apr. 11th

NoAngel (Carl) and I worked to put this ride together at his suggestion. We’d like to invite all SC VTX riders to join us.

No Rider(s) Left Behind !!!

I want to try and work with McAllister’s Deli to get us all taken care of, so I’ll need a head count to ensure that we get enough seats. I need to have a complete head count by Monday, March 30th. Please reply to this post AND eMail me if you are planning to make this ride with the SC VTX Riders that day. Let me know if you need any specific map(s) and I’ll get them out to you in Adobe PDF format.

- We plan to meet at the Barnyard Flea Market in Lexington, SC located off US-1 between I-26 and I-20 between 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Leave at 11:30
- A short hop over to McAllister’s Deli in Lexington about 2 miles away from our meet-up point for lunch. We’d like to stay for about 1 hour at most.
- After lunch, we’re planning on taking a leisurely ride around parts of Lake Murray and out Rt.76 towards Newbury.
- From Newbury out towards Ninety Six. Ninety Six was a real “frontier town” and there are some historic sights and a brief stop-over is planned to stretch after the nearly 2 hour ride via back roads to get there.
- Next, we’ll swing around Greenwood and head back out towards Laurens at I-26. That should put us fairly close to 5 PM. We figured that would be a good “jump-off” point for all those folks who have some distance to travel to get home that evening.

I have maps available showing the location of the Barnyard Flea Market in Lexington.
I also have ride route maps and directions from the Barnyard Flea Market to Laurens at I-26
I also have maps available showing folks the “preferred “ routes to get home using the shortest travel times.

Send me your eMail address via PM or eMail for maps available for the following “home” destinations –
The Barnyard Flea Market, Lexington, SC
Aiken
Anderson
Beaufort
Charleston
Cheraw
Florence
Greenville
Lugoff
Myrtle Beach
Rock Hill

Hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday, Apr. 4th

From Trenton, Count me in

Count me in for now, to meet at the meeting place (would like that map fro Aiken to the Barnyard Flea Market), and for lunch. Not sure how much of the ride around Lake Murray that I'll participate in, but will do at least some of it.
Thanks to the organizers of this!

Steve

I had a great time also. I will be heading back to Ninety-Six sometime to check out the park. I hate we had to break off so early but we had to get back.

We definitely need to do this again & if you're ever headed near Anderson...gimme a shout & we'll take off somewhere.
