I think that you can convert an "R/S" seat to 1300c, but I'm not sure about the other way around. There is modification involved for sure.

Depending on what seat mod you are wanting BadX to do, I may be able to help you mod your own. I will be re-shaping the foam on my 1800c seat to smooth out the bottom to try & alleviate the "butt-burn". I put about 200 miles on the stock 1800c seat today & I know that I definitely need to reshape the foam. I plan to try it myself & if I screw it up, I'll send it to BadX & have him do the memory foam mod.

I don't want to take away from any of BadX's business, as he does a phenominal job (speaking from experience as a satisfied customer), but I want to take a stab at it first & try to save some $$$. 8)

Anyway, if I am successful, maybe we could re-shape your stock seat & make it comfy too.

Just a thought... :D

Thanks Dave, I appreciate it & will keep it in mind, let's talk... When are you gonna mod your seat?... I'd hate to try & mod mine & have to send it away cause I blew it, don't want any down time this time of year...

Dick,

I have a brand new passenger seat that was a take-off with 100 miles. The guy put a Mustang seat on his bike as soon as he bought it.

You are welcome to send it in for BadX Mod and install that one on your bike; just return your stock seat upon completion. At least that covers your passenger seat and if you can find a driver's seat you wont have any down time.

Probably this week sometime. I have to pull the cover off to trim the lower sides of the seat so I can get the side-covers back on. The bikes lookin' a little "ghetto" right now without the side covers.

While I have the cover off, I thought I would try to shape the seat a bit. I will need to pick up an electric stapler to reattach the cover. I'm thinking Wally's would have something like that. 8)

I'm happier than usual, XRiderChuck has offered to send his 1300S seat my way & then on with the mod.
