I don't have the progressive 412's yet, but I'm trying to add up the total cost of setting up my C with front and rear lowered shocks, and obviously, to cut cost, I'd like to think I can do it myself.

How difficult is this swap? is it a job for the bike guru? a competant mechanic? a mediocre mechanic? or any wrench hand? what's involved for both the rear and the front?


Also, do you guys suggest the standard or the lowered front springs?

I narrowed my search and found that a lot of guys were able to put the springs and shocks on in 15-30 minutes. I guys it can't be that difficult. Anything to watch out for?

If I wanted to go with the 240 conversion kit later down the road, would I be able to use the same progressive 412's (11" or 11.5")?
