trying to find something to carry a water bottle or cycling tumbler in without cluttering up the handlebars.
show me what you are using..

I'd not be able to grab that while riding. Barely reach the key....Had the same concern last year. Didn't want my handles loaded up with accessories but wanted the cup within reach.
is that a DOT approved helmet?
interesting idea.Had the same concern last year. Didn't want my handles loaded up with accessories but wanted the cup within reach.
Think laws of physics would enter into play here while jamming down the road. Would not want to be behind you. Nice helmet....
???Slot it in next to the cigarette lighter. Fits nice.
I personally never understood the need for a cup holder on a motorcycle, except maybe if you have to travel for long distances and have no saddlebags, but even then pull over and take a break at a rest stop where there's liquids.
Anyway, here is an outside the box consideration. Bike riders use a bladder with a sip tube. Could possible be worn under a jacket if not completely full...

I scrape the floorboards all the time, the cup holder never touches the road. And it grips the cups really well. I love it.interesting idea.
I would be concerned about dragging it on a turn, I get my bike pretty low in the twisties. though it gives me some ideas.
i've scraped my kickstand,.I scrape the floorboards all the time, the cup holder never touches the road. And it grips the cups really well. I love it.
Impressive!i've scraped my kickstand,.
Have you modified the height?i've scraped my kickstand,.
yeah air suspension.Have you modified the height?
Mine being lowered makes is impossible to ride over speed bumps, and I scrap floorboards all the time. If you are not prepared.
VERY COOL.....yeah air suspension.
but I lean my X over pretty far as you can see from the rear tire. years of sport bike riding and knee dragging.

I'm surprised how loose the front forks feel on the 1800, too. Thought it was just me.the pegs hit, but they fold up,
when I lean that far I typically flip up the bottom pegs and move my foot up to the secondary/highway pegs, so I don't end up dragging my boot and high siding the bike.
scared the hell out of friend on his Indian during a ride one day because I dragged the kickstand and threw sparks while he was behind me.
I will get a video of the air suspension in the next few days so you can seen the play in the height. the forks have gold wing springs in them, between the OEM, Progressives and Gold Wing, I found the GW to be the most comfortable for my riding style. OEM were too sloppy and the progressives to firm.
