I'm surprised how loose the front forks feel on the 1800, too. Thought it was just me.

Replacing the fork springs is considered the best mod for the VTX 1800 here, followed by the shocks and the clutch.

My fairing has a cigarette lighter and it works! I guess if I had time for a cigar it would come in handy. Or if I had to melt something lol

The foot peg is exactly what I wanted to avoid. It looks like you can only use this one of there is no passenger. That's why I mounted mine on the passenger foot peg mount; it is forward enough to avoid their feet but still within reach.

Yes, but. I would be easy enough to mount a p-clamp to the bars and fasten a dowel to it to receive the sleeve. Necessity is afterall the mother of invention.
