i ordered the kury curved side mount plate and silver bullets with the hollow bolts to put on the shock struts....questions are.....will i need a spring compressor or something like it to mount the plate on the lower shock bolt or will i be able to just have someone lift the back of the bike up to get the bolt back in???...how difficult are the silver bullets to mount to the struts....not very good with the electrical stuff....thanks

You wont need a spring compressor....even if you have to take the shock off which im not sure you will...you just may need someone to lightly lift on the rear end just a tad or do it on a motorcycle jack and youll have no problem.

You shouldn't need to pull the shock, just the bolt. I had a Kury side mount previously and have a different one now. Both, you just pulled the bolt and replaced it with the one provided. Very simple. The wiring, well, I'm not the greatest at that either.

just fyi, there is no weight on the bolt at all. The eyelet of the shock fits over a....um, a stud type thing, the bolt simply keeps the shock from sliding off of the "stud", so by pulling the bolt you are in no danger of having to monkey with the shock itself. It's not going anywhere just from taking the bolt out.

Just wanted to clarify for you in case you didn't know. Should look good when you get it on there. good luck with it.
