Here's the info on the run:

The Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet Run to Somerset
will be this Sunday, July 8th. Last year, we had approximately
35 bikes that left the "Burgh" for this excellent run. This is one
of the best runs in Western PA. You never put your feet down
from Somerset to Bedford County and back for the entire
90 plus minutes. A state police helicopter follows us the
entire way.

We will be meeting at the new Sheetz on Rt. 51 S. across
from Bowser Car Sales in Pleasant Hills @ 8am. The bikes
will put out at 8:30am SHARP.

Our second stop will be the new Sheetz on Rt. 51 in
Rostraver Township @ 8:50am. It's a few miles up
from Rt. 51 & Rt.48 heading towards Uniontown on the
right hand side on Rt. 51 S. Pull out time will be 9:05am.

We will join forces and travel to Rt. 31 to take us all the
way to the City of Somerset.

Once there, we will then meet a PA State Trooper car for
a personal escort @ 10:40am at the Somerset Sheetz
gas station. We will then travel to the Somerset County
Airport. The ride starts @ 12pm. There should be over
500 bikes this year waiting for our arrival.

We have to stay on a tight schedule with the two stops
and over 35 bikes in tow.

They are calling for sunny skies with temperatures in
the mid 80's. It's going to be a fun filled day riding
thru four counties. We will be back in the "Burgh"
around 4:45pm. Hope all can make this great
fun raiser for the cadets.

Great ride today lots of pa vtxer's.......and congrats to carl for winning 1st prize with the 109(i like to think i came in 2nd :lol: )

I think its that damn racing stripe on that thing.

Nice to see everyone....skillet,rainman,carl,dhvac,sweade,gwiz,bwoy(and wife) ,classic58,da spaz(and wife) and iam sure iam missing someone.

Can wait to post some pics.
