When I ride alone (which is more or less when I am going to work) I often put my MP3 on. Being an eclectic kinda guy I have many different genres of music on there. Well, the other day as I was riding and this particular song came on and I had a proper ah moment. The song just fit with the big VTX, lyrics, beats and everything ..............it was quite spiritual and made me click with Shirley even more. Now do not get me wrong here there are many songs that I ride with that fit with Shirley and fit well. But this was one of those standout moments. road, weather, traffic (or not in this case) & mental state all coming together. So I thought I would share it with you guys and ask this.

Do you have any standout songs or tunes that when you hear them they just take you back to your VTX or another special two-wheeled babe you have owned?

I came back from a 2000 mile round trip from Denver to Glacier National Park in Montana while playing random music.
Exactly at the border between Wyoming and my home state Colorado, at the "Welcome to Colorful Colorado" sign, John Denver started "Rocky Mountain High". I started SCREAMING about how fitting it was.

I think I might be too old now (54) to make that move but if I could make that move I would be over there like a shot.

Not a two-wheeled song, but brings me back to when I owned my '62 Impala, and my girlfriend lived in another town. I still have it on my "riding" playlist.
Great song for two wheels, a lot of shifting!

And it's a half past four and I'm shiftin' gear

All nations have their problems and the US is no exception. But what you do have is (when you get away from the bull****) some fudgkin glorious countryside and grand, grand roads. and some great people (I mean the common man without all the pretentious bull-crap)

I would love to tour the states working as I went if I could. Reckon I am too old (probably) and have heard it would be a bugger to get in and do that?

Loving these tunes BTW not what I expected at all

I grew up in New Orleans area, many great local songs.
Later on Rock&Roll 60's, Rock 70's. No Beatles! A lot of Eric Clapton(and related groups) Procol Harum, Traffic.
I mainly listen to Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Duane Allman Anthology(mainly session work), NOLA music, Swamp Gold, some Doors,
and other music from 70's and 80's: The Band, Willie Nelson, Marshall Tucker, Bob Seeger, much more.
