If you have $11000 in your vtx, like I or more do not and I emphasize [do not] ride a valkyrie unless your absolutely in love with a vtwin.

The Valk is definitely a nice ride. My regular riding buddy has one, and we switch off every once in awhile. It's a totally different animal; lots of go, but thirsty as all hell. But everywhere we go, that 6 cylinder thing gets all the attention. If Honda were ever to decided to make them again (excluding the Rune ... that just doesn't float my boat), I could see myself trading the X for one.
But as much as the thought of that Wing's 1800 in a cruiser gets me to droolin', the prospect doesn't seem too likely ... Unfortunately I don't consider trading something new for something old a move in the right direction. So -- assuming mine ever gets out of the shop before they put me in the old folks home -- I'll just hang onto it for awhile.
