June and I are still going. We will leave early Saturday morning and get there at about 12:00, when they start serving THE SOUP. Then we are going to meet up with some other friends and drive HY10 west over to a little town of Eleva south west of Eau Claire. We are going to an open house for a place called Iron Bags. We plan to hang out for the night and do alittle camping and ALITTLE parting. Sunday ride some up there and then home. Heres a link for Iron Bags http://www.ironbags.com/ very nice hand made bags. Here is the link for the Open House http://www.ironbags.com/openhouse.html
Hope to hook up for the ride up to the soup run.
As usual we have no plans for a route. Just the destinations. Like I have always said for years NO EXPECTATIONS NO REGRETS.
Whats this run all about? I am new to the soup run idea and would like to know more. Just got back from the dells ride and now I have an itch to get on the road again soon.
June and I will leave around 10:00 from Oconomowoc. We could meet up some where and ride up together. I figure it will take about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there. We were thinking about taking back roads up. Hy 83 north??? HY 67 Northern Kettle area, then alittle west and were there. What ever works!! Mike what time could you be up here by??? Taffer, van13dutch, RadioActive, anybody??? Maybe Waukesha area.
We would like to get some what of an early start so we get to the soup run and can hang out for awhile. We still have to ride over to Eau Claire and find a camp site for Saturday nite.
I was planning on attending to this event, plus the weather is supposed to be nice, but, unfortunatly, I have to work . Oh well, maybe next year.
Sounds like a plan,Mike! What time are ya thinkin about?
Ken
