I know this has been a question a lot of us have had about the speedo error and the odometer reading. Here's what I see, yes my speedo is off by 10% so at 50 MPH it's actually 45 MPH and on up the range. Now I live 44 miles door to door from work (as messured by GPS) so if the speedo error carried over to the ODO that should read a trip of 48.4 miles but it reads 45 miles so the error in Odometer is less then 1%. THis being the case we shouldn't have to worry about having 10% more miles on the bike then actually used.

Has anyone else noticed this? or has everyone just decided not to worry about it and ride on :D :D :D

Don't worry be happy :D Ride it, Love it and get that after market exhaust because the noise makes it even nicer to ride  :D 8) :p

gps measurement

I might be wrong but I think that GPS systems measures distance traveled over ground which is different than straight line measuring or point to point.
