So, here it is. I've had my new horn for 3 weeks, but with no shop and all the rain, it's been sitting on a shelf, looking lonely. Yesterday we did the ******* thing and put a ramp up the deck, pushed the bike up onto the deck (more of a 30X14' porch) and installed the horn. I say we. I have a broken arm and in a cast for 5 more weeks so, I did very little. Mostly supervised and prodded my shade tree mechanic on. Results, I love it. I may just have to be content with honking the horn for the next 5 weeks, but for now I at least have that. And thanks to all you guys for all the tips I picked up from you on wiring, mounting. etc. And thanks to Pepsx for the great bracket (great price, by the way, on the bracket).

Didn't get to use the horn but get this, I got cut off today on the way home from work. I caught up with them at the next light and as I beemed my killer stare at them through their back window I looked down and read their bumper sitcker "Watch out for motorcycles". Makes ya wonder don't it?

I had the same experience... only it was on a major highway and the racoon was a dodge pick up. didn't exactly send him into the woods, but he got back in his lane fast enough. must have thought a large truck was gonna take him out. kinda funny!

I think the most fun i have had with mine was on a freeway, some young chick on the cell phone wanted in my lane, I was on her left, my front wheel even with her drivers door. cell phone to her left ear. she got her right side tires accross the line and i gave her a long blast. she dropped the phone it scared her so bad. I reminded her of how many parents she had with my left hand, as she swerved back into her lane. I couldnt stop LOL.

I love my stebel horn!! I had jon from our Washington group put mine on for me when he was doing my 8k maintenance. Not something I wanted to even attempt and my husband didn't really want to do it. Got the bracket from pepsx as well. Its great!!! My stebel is also hooked up to my stock horn and both together sound awesome and LOUD.

When I got my state inspection this year I listened for the guy to honk my stebel (I wanted to hear it!) while he was outside,he didn't, so I moved over to where I could watch him once he was in the shop  Basicly scared/surprized the dump outa him when he honked it, then he gave me a thumbs up when he saw me laughing!!! Everybody should have one!
