I started running straight pipes with a slip-on 45 degree turnout last month.I gotta say I still love that open V-Twin sound.I seldom ride in the early am so it doesnt bother the neighbors. I ve had several people comment on how good it sounds. How many others are running straight pipes?

I don't... but my son used to run his Spirit with straight pipes -- man!! It was loud!! Everybody in the group was wanting to keep him at the back of the pack! :wink:

My Hacker Performance exhaust is no baffle... and hellishly loud!!

I run samson street sweepers straight pipes. They are loud when opened up all the way but they really have a good sound to them all around.

I want to install the Hacker pipes on my 1300 just was not sure how good they would sound.

they are easily as loud as cobra's or samsons... that 90* turn out... well, they are very loud... real rumblely... I've had nothing but good comments... and no tickets, so far... :lol:

I love my speedsters.......pretty loud when I jump on it hard......

Havent had the gumption to try them without the baffles...yet. LOL

running cobra lowboy staggereds straight. pretty loud but can keep quiet in the neighborhood.
