All you wrenches out there will laugh at me, but I spent over 2 hours and used every Allen wrench, torx head wrench, needle-nosed pliers, regular pliers, and vice grips and could not remove my helmet lock. Started thread on here, took everybody's advice--no luck! (A couple of others said they had same problem). My next door neighbor is a dentist. I borrowed a dental mirror, saw that there is only one bolt holding on the lock (near the back)--the thing in the front that appears to be a bolt is a little nipple that just helps hold lock in place. By taking a #4 allen wrench and poking out the nipple, that allowed the lock to drop down on the front end. I then used needle-nosed pliers to hold the actual torx head bolt at back in place while I wiggled, jiggled, and said a few profanities at the lock until it got loose enough for me to then hold the lock and turn the back bolt with the needle-nosed pliers. I know it took me longer to do this than some of you do your own valve jobs, but for a novice and a non-wrench, I can't tell you the sense of accomplishment I feel!
