Denise wants to get up to lancaster and were thinking this next sunday calling for warm and sunnty may be a good time to make that trip.

Lancaster is the home of a REAL A&W rootbeah stand the gals even still use the changers on the run.

Ok, I guess i'm in charge. Meet at my place in Monticello at 10. ksu at 10:30. Heading north thru Bankston and on to Balltown. Then to Cassville ,take ferry across Mississippi, then to Lancaster for lunch at A+W. Then north along river, cross back over to iowa side at prairie duchein and back down towards Dubuque. From CLINTON AREA:

Denise and I are about 1.5 hours from Daves house in monticello. We plan on leaving our place on hwy 136 at 8:30am sharp it takes us about 35 minutes to make the walmart in Maquoketa. SO if you want to hook up there plan on leaving Walmart on 64 at 9:15am That should put us at Daves place at or around 10:15AM

I pulled a mapqwest on his address so hope we can find it again lol.

We have to be back in Clinton at 4pm not much latter to let the pup out and the fireworks in clinton is on Sunday night also. So if were running late we may break off after lunch and head back south.

Supposed to be pushing 97 degrees so bring water with you drinking from the river is not a good idear.
