You needed a new thread. The last thread was from May.
The forecast looked good at point A and point Z so we rode up to visit our son in Ft Payne.
Looks good outside. Blue skies and high altitude wispy clouds.
Besides finishing the trim on the storage building we should get some riding time.
Ride safe.

Back in Bama again.
Saturday--rode up to Franklin,TN and got onto the Natchez Trace.
I went into Franklin on 96 but 180 degrees in downtown does not mean I was on 96.
(270 degrees would have been correct)
Went north farther than planned, a course correction and made it to the NT.
Many stops in the first 60 miles.
Ride leader (not me) blew past US 64 for an overnight stay and when we stopped at AL/TN line we discussed it.
Talked to a young man at the stop, Fury rider. It looks good. He is in the TN National Guard.
I suggested we could just ride back to Ft Payne. We did--with a problem.
Had to repair a broken low beam wire in the HL bucket of the 1200C in Athens.
Night riding is good, except for bugs, lack of some vision, bunch of traffic in the cities, exit ramps too close together.
Once we got out of Huntsville traffic was very light.
