Here's a pretty good one for ya'll to read. I'm leaving to go out of town
on Thursday evening so, I call a local guy that works on VTXS' in the area.
First of all it's July 4th, so I didn't expect him to even be able to take my bike on a holiday but I call anyway.He says" no problem bring it over". I
bring the bike over to his house and tell him what I want and give him all the parts. My wife followed me with the parts in the car. By the time I leave his house it's about 11:00 am and he tells me he might be able to have it ready before I go out of town Thursday.(the whole while I'm thinking I probably get it back Sunday when I return).Well about 3:00 pm I'm doing the homemade Hooters Wing thing(with all the kids oer) and the phone rings. He says "Doug this is Mike Buras" first thing I think is I brought over the wrong parts. What do i hear next? "YOU'RE BIKE IS READY" I couldn't believe it. I bothered the man on 4th of July weekend and he finished my bike in a few hours. I never expected that, and I would like to take the time to thank a STAND UP GUY. Mike(Bare) Buras.
I really never expected this and, it is greatly appreciated. Now I may be able to take a ride before I leave.

I'll be the first to agree with ya MEANIE. Mike is a top notch guy.

And by the way, He told me that he finally found some one who keeps his bike as clean if not cleaner then mine. :lol:

Thanks for the kind words Doug, but like I said today on the phone - I don't want to give you THAT good of a first impression, lol... :twisted:

I usually get through them pretty fast if all the parts are on hand, but sometimes it does take a day or so. Lucky for you the rain had temporarily postponed most of my plans for the day and I figured if I could get the work done and get it back to you immediately everyone would be happy. :wink:
