Hey guys,

my engine just started having a slight ticking to it. I only have just under 5k miles on my '05 1300S. Does this sound like I need a valve adjustment or does anyone have any other suggestions of what it might be and what I would have to do to stop it.

Either Osama's boys have planted a surprise on your ride, or the valve tappets are making a racket. See the tech section for details on valve adjustments. It's better to hear the tappets than not, but there is a slight possibility that one is way too loose. I'm not the expert. See Poison's posts for more details.

Thanks for the response. While looking, I found a small clock and what I would assume are road flares (for my safety I'm sure) wrapped in ductape.......yeah, I don't think that came factory
