200 x 0.6 = 120 (second number is the sidewall height in realation to the width so the sidewall height is 60% as high as the width)

120 x .03937 = 4.72 (multiplying by .03937 changes the mm into inches)

4.72 + 16 + 4.72 = 25.44 is the combined wheel/tire height in inches

Use the same formula for any tire

205/55-16
205 x 0.55 =112.75
112.75 x .03937 = 4.44
4.44 + 16 + 4.44 = 24.88 combined

Or you can convert the 200 to inches by dividing by 25.4, then multiply the answer by .6 and doubble that answer. then add the rim diameter and you have the same answer. 200/25.4 =7.874. 7.874 x .6 = 4.7244.
4.7244 x 2 = 9.4488. plus 16 =25.4488 Then the most important part. You must add the federal, state and local taxes. apply your senior citizen discount before you figure the taxes, and deduct 3% if you intend to use nitrogen in your tires. Don
