I am going on Fri. 14 to check out things at thunder creek and downtown before the sat. 15 for the trail of tears ride. If you don't want to ride with the main group of several thousands you can ride with us. About 20-+ folks with experience. We get to Florence a couple of hours before the main group rides in so we get to do all our sight seeing and get photos of the ride comming in. We leave around 7:30-45 am and meet at the kystral (spelling) at the foot of lookout moutain on broad street.

I have tried to contact a couple of the people involved and haven't gotten any response. My wife and I were talking about going up the day before and either camping or staying in a motel close. Depending on the weather and the accomodations. Do you have any plans yet?

There are a couple of things going on on the 14th. Thunder creek hd will have it's normal bash, venders, food, live band and lots of bikes. Then in the evening there will be night fall with lots of folks from all around. If you need a hotel/motel get reservations quick; they will fill up quick. See ya there. If you prefer not to ride with the main group-100,000 -+ bikes ride with us. We leave on the 15th at the Krystal on broad street at 7:45am
